At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs! We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar. Airports are a drag. The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination. And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares. So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be. That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.
But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought. What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does? We think it can be described as…
“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”
It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite. Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.
With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.

You are planning a vacation to Europe and are finding out all the things that are involved with a trip overseas. Not only do you need a flight but you need accommodations and a rental car and tours and food. You begin online with your travel dates and search the flights to London to find the best deal.
Flights during the peak season cost more then the off season so you consider maybe waiting till after summer to leave. You then look into a rental can and find this it cost more and seems more complicated than renting a car the US. But to be able to get around on your own time frame is worth the cost. You book your car from home, in advance and find that all the typical agencies are also in Europe. Dollar, Avis, Budget and other common names are all over the world renting cars.
Renting a car for a week will save you money compared to four days. The rate for a daily rental is quite high so the longer you keep the car, the cost per day goes down. It is possible to pay more to get your car right at the airport instead of picking it up downtown.

Finding the right cruise for you or your family is a hard task nowadays. It used to be that cruises were all pretty much the same thing only going to different places, and, naturally, with different prices. But nowadays, there are a lot of options that you may choose from, so the excuses for not going on a cruise are getting smaller. Here are some reason why you might want to consider getting your sea legs.
First of all, it’s getting cheaper. Finding an acceptably priced cruise for someone on a budget used to be very hard, but nowadays, with the large cruise ships and the increase in demand, there are plenty of cruise ship deals around. There’s also the point that cruises are becoming increasingly diverse in their nature. You can still take the long cruises of tropical islands, or the famous Mediterranean cruises around Italy, Greece, Turkey and Egypt, but you can also take shorter cruises that specialize in some kind of attraction. For instance, there’s a very interesting cruise line that does trips from England to various European Northern capitals, from Amsterdam to Sweden, and it’s pretty much advertised as being a small vacation cruise where you can have fun, aimed at stag parties, for example.

If you were to make a list of the hotels at Heathrow, you would have a list of about thirty names. Most of the Heathrow Airport hotels are the large chain hotels with most major names represented. It is common to see Travelodge, Sheraton, Marriott, Holiday Inn and Premier Inn at most of the big airports, and Heathrow is not exception.
If you want to stay at the Hilton, it is at terminal 4 and the Sofitel will be found at terminal 5 and these two are the only ones that are connected to the airport. The other hotels are not close enough to walk to once you have landed at the airport. Most of the other hotels will offer a transfer bus .
The main hotel strip of on Bath Road and is on the northern perimeter of the airport. This is the best area in which to have your hotel stay and once there you will see why. It is these hotels that are the closets to the passenger terminals and where you can get away from the expensive food and drink. On Bath Road are the Holiday Inn, Radisson Edwardian, Marriott, Sheraton Skyline and the Park Inn. Entertainment in this area is at a good price as well.

Planning your honeymoon involves a very specific kind of accommodation. The budget hotel or youth hostel you’re used to booking won’t do for your honeymoon. At the same time, searching for luxury hotels can be overwhelming. Many hotels promise a lot, but what is important to you will determine which one is right for your honeymoon. Here are some ideas to help you book the right hotel for your special holiday.
First, does the hotel offer a honeymoon suite? If you prefer privacy, you will want a comfortable room with extra perks such as a private hot tub. You should also ask if they provide or offer anything specifically for honeymooners. Often, simply mentioning you are newly weds will result in complimentary champagne and strawberries in the room. Other hotels may offer you a special rate or a free room upgrade. It never hurts to ask, to call and see what benefits you can get.
Second, do they have all the facilities you want? If you are interested in learning how to scuba dive, or want easy access to a gym, you’ll need to check what they offer specifically. Some hotels offer instructors, spas and other facilities for your use.

When planning your next vacation, look beyond the usual hotels and motels for your accommodations. Holiday cottages offer a comfortable alternative to standard lodging. Cottages are located in a variety of locations and provide all the benefits of your own home. Holiday cottages come in different sizes for different groups on the trip. A cottage comes equipped with a full kitchen and often has a number of amenities to provide entertainment while relaxing indoors.
Holiday cottages are available wherever your next holiday is. You can live like the locals, but still be on vacation. You could find holiday cottages in the UK that are conveniently located in quaint villages or near important train lines. Holiday cottages around Europe are available to suit any type of holiday you hope to have, from days at the beach to a cultural trip filled with historical sites and museums. US holiday cottages can take you away from the chaos of the city, but are still close enough to allow you to get back to the conveniences easily.
No matter where you’re going, the size of your party, or how long you’re going for, a cottage rental can be a perfect way of balancing comfort and convenience. Consider holiday cottages for your next family vacation.

Life at any of the numerous holiday parks around the nation is, in short, amazing. Spearheading the many benefits of spending your holiday at a holiday park is the social experience. Being surrounded by people having a lot of fun makes it a lot easier to get to know others and make some friends. The wide array of activities that you can take also comes with a lot of benefits. First of all, there’s a much larger chance that you’ll find an activity you’re comfortable doing, in case you’re self conscious. Not everyone deals well with having to learn, let’s say, how to shoot with a bow in front of a bunch of strangers. Fortunately, there’s a lot more you can try. The other benefit is quite clear to spot: you won’t get bored easily. Actually, a friend of mine usually says that you need to really try hard to be bored in a holiday park.
And did you check how cheap they are? We’re talking about all inclusive, fun packed holiday resorts, most of them with budget prices. I wouldn’t put a price tag on my holiday fun, but if it can be a small one, I won’t complain.

When you’re looking for a cruise, be it online or at your local travel agent, make sure you have a set idea, if not of where you want to go, at least of what you want to do. Whether you feel like having nighttime fun while relaxing at the beach or, instead, if you want to experience architecture or historical sites, just make sure you point that out clearly and don’t get carried away by that offer that’ll only be available that day and you’ll be a fool not to take. Surely these cruise deals are cheap and may even be fun for most people, but you shouldn’t settle for something that isn’t exactly what you want it to be.
Remember that with the changes in ship manufacture and the diversity of cruise liners there’s always a cruise that meets your needs, even if you want, for example, a river cruise or instead a deep sea adventure with more ocean than land around you. And don’t get caught up with the large liners that have everything from a pool to a scented candle store in the mall, for those are often the less fun ones.

If you’re planning a vacation, you may be trying to decide whether or not to go through a travel agency. There are definitely more advantages than disadvantages to using a travel agent for planning trips. Some people feel that these agencies are a waste of money and that they can easily do all the planning and deal finding themselves. However, if you are a busy person who is trying to juggle a job and a family, you may not have time to get everything together for your upcoming trip.
A travel agency can usually find better deals on hotels and flights than you can find for yourself. It’s true that deals can be found online if you take the time to look, but there is a greater chance that your travel agent can get discounts not available to the general public through the Internet. If you want to use a travel agency, try to find a place that doesn’t charge a fee for their services. Some of these agencies work on commission only. They get their pay from major hotels and airlines who reward them for bringing them customers. The better the service they provide, the more they earn, therefore they are usually very nice people to deal with.
