Virgin Holidays- Rockstar Service

At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs! We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar.  Airports are a drag.  The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination.  And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares.  So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be.  That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.

But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought.  What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does?  We think it can be described as…

“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”

It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite.  Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.

With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.

Getting in touch with Tenerife

Getting in touch with Tenerife

To go on holidays to Tenerife is something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. It’s not because it has the best beaches, the best hotels, the best food or the best people. I bet you could find any island or tourist destination that offers something better in at least one of those departments. But a Tenerife holiday season has something that nothing else has: the best mix of all of those aspects.

Surely you can go to Thailand and experience amazing beaches and an incredible landscape. But good luck with the food there, and finding helpful people. And you can go to Ibiza and there are some incredible hotels there also. But the people that spend their holidays there have one thing in mind: partying. And partying is a synonym for noise, which is not a synonym for a relaxed holiday. You can also go, for example, to Hawaii, where you’ll find that everything is almost perfect. Until you sit down to eat and realize that practically everything has been streamlined to taste like normal, western / American food and there’s nothing new to it.

To go to the Canaries is to go on a slightly bigger adventure than any other of these travel destinations. Because, quite simply, it retained a lot of its original identity and it clings on to it. Which may not be the best thing for a retired tourist who only likes the things he or she knows, but for people with a bit of sense of adventure and an appetite for the unknown, it’s just perfect.

The Canary Islands have been called a “little continent” before, and that’s just what they are. You can find a lot of different flora and fauna in the archipelago and several different kinds of weather too. Not to mention terrain that goes from huge plains and long sandy beaches to high peaks and volcanic coastlines.

You can find some really cheap Canaries Holidays from OnTheBeach, if you’re interested. I know a lot of people plug their favorite travel website or travel agency and they always find it best, but this is honestly the best one for me. Because, quite simply, it lets me take control of my holidays. I have the option of letting them find me a package holiday or I can make my own. They have a wide choice of travel destinations and hotels that are proven to be good.

Discover a new Egypt

Discover a new Egypt

Egypt is a land of history. Its astounding monuments are the foundation of Egypt’s tourism. It’s no wonder, really. A culture that ‘s been around so many years, considered by many to be one of the cradles of civilization, and that mastered feats and techniques of engineering that are only made possible with very recent technology.

Egypt was the center of the world for as long as its might stood and its kings were powerful, but even after it declined in power, it was still a spot of major importance. It was because of the grain from Egypt that battles were fought, battles like Anthony and Cleopatra against Octavian and the many fought between Muslims and the kings of Constantinople. Even the Crusades had something to say about Egypt, and vice-versa.

But now, with the land being peaceful and welcoming, the time came to start enjoying its treasures. With the pyramids leading the assault on popular imagination, followed closely by the Sphinx, Egypt has a place in everyone’s dreams of holidays.

But there is a new face to modern Egypt, where the man made might and wonder of the Pyramids are replaced by the natural beauty of its beaches and where the mysticism and roughness of a camel ride to see an amazing monument is replaced by a tasty dinner in a restaurant and a drink in a club by the sea.

While the Mediterranean coast of Egypt holds many wonders, the most magnificent beaches are in the coast near the Arabian Sea and, especially, Sharm el Sheikh.

Now, if you’re on a budget, it’s now easy to find cheap Sharm el Sheikh holidays. But don’t despair, because it’s possible. You just need to dig a little deeper than usual, and probably get a little help from our friends in Dealchecker.

Getting cheap holidays from Dealchecker is something that comes at little to no trouble to you. Their website has the advantage of being an all for one when it comes to booking your holidays. It’s common for a travel website to provide you with solutions for your flight into the country or with hotel bookings. Some will even provide links to third party websites or partner companies that handle car rentals, for example. But this website provides everything you can hope for. You can book your flight and your hotel, look up car rental deals, and much more. You can even buy travel insurance.

Cool and Eclectic Nightlife

Most people think if Disney World or Sew World when they hear Orlando Florida.  It is true that there are many theme parks in Orlando and it is a huge tourist destination every year for families, but what about the singles?  The night life of Orlando is thriving and stems from the theme parks and all the attractions in the region.  In just the past two decades, the music scenes and local DJ’s have arrived because of these parks.  If you are the party type and want to find what Orlando has to offer, then begin by first shopping for cheap holidays to Orlando

When you arrive, you will find the latest underground sounds and cool lounges.  You can attend live concerts or just relax in a laid back pub and down a few pints. The nightclubs are abundant and you will not be at a loss to find bars or restaurants downtown.  You will want to find Orange Avenue as this is where a lot of the activity happens. Other hot spots can also be found on Magnolia Street, Pine Street and Central Boulevard.  There a a handful of US cities that have developed their own dance scene paralleled to the UK, and Orlando is one of those cities.  This happened in the 80s and 90′s and shaped the nightlife to become world class.  If you are in the UK and planning on visiting Orlando to check out what they have to offer, then connect with Ocean Florida to get the best deals on your flight and accommodations. They offer their own deals and allow you to tailor it to fit your needs.  Not only do they use only the top names in airlines but they have summer deals that can allow you to make your visit one to remember.

International Drive is another area for nightlife as it offers vast entertainment options for those who enjoy the party scene. This is a street with shopping, restaurants and attractions during the day and at night becomes an area not to be missed. Pointe Orlando is a entertainment complex just down the street from the conventions center. Here you will find one-stop nighttime activity with many restaurants and live music at the recently opened B.B King’s Blues Club. Don’t miss your chance to experience the trendiest nightclub in Orlando, the Icebar.  Also look for dueling piano bar that is in the same area.

Choosing Your Holiday Destination

Choosing Your Holiday Destination

Before you can book, reserve, or even browse through all your vacation details, you first must decide where it is you’re going. Depending on your budget and personal preference, these options will vary considerably. It is important to consider a few key factors when deciding on your final destination. Here are some basic guidelines to help you determine where you should spend your next holiday!

First, consider your budget. Your budget will narrow down most of your options for you, without including any other factors. For example, Balearic Islands holidays may not suit everyone’s wallet, but it doesn’t mean you can’t have an island vacation on your budget. Those who are already in Europe will find that traveling to the Spanish islands is less expensive than those half way around the globe. This is why the distance in which you’ll be traveling will also play a key point. Longer flights will result in higher prices, so your figuring out your exact budget is the best place to start. There are many different ways to save on a holiday, such as finding discount accommodation, or package deals.

As mentioned before, the distance in which you’ll travel for your holiday will also play an important part. Driving in your own car to the coast, for a weekend getaway is considerably cheaper than flying into an exotic and remote island. Deciding how far you’ll travel will give you a good idea of what your possibilities will end up being.

Next, consider who you are traveling with. Are you alone? Are you with your family, including small children? Are you on your honeymoon? This will also help you decide what the best destination is for your focus. Party destinations are great for socializing, clubs, and night life. Romantic and secluded destinations are great for couples. And destinations with plenty of attractions are perfect for those traveling with their family and children. Narrowing down what your focus and expectations will be can also help you decide on a destination, for example: do you prefer museums and historical landmarks? Are you looking for a beach to relax on? Do you want to shop, see a show, or enjoy fine dining? These are important aspects to consider.

How you plan on booking is also important. All inclusive holidays, for example, is a stress free solution to vacation planning. Booking online through discount and special offers websites can also save you money.

How to Use the Internet While on Vacation

How to Use the Internet While on Vacation

There are many options if you’re going to be traveling and want to stay connected online. You might want to share pictures of your holiday on Facebook, or your relatives might enjoy a tweet about what you’re doing. To stay connected online during your trip, here are four common options.

1. Hotel Internet

The first place you should look for internet is your hotel. Most hotels have free wireless internet available. Some might charge a fee depending on the availability of internet in general. If your hotel doesn’t provide internet, then don’t fret. You still have other options.

2. Internet Cafe

Internet cafes are common all over the world. For a small fee, you can use a computer and connect to the internet. Asking your hotel’s front desk is probably the best place to start. If they can’t provide any recommendations, then ask the locals. They will always know their area best.

3. Wi-fi Hotspots

Most travel destinations will almost certainly have wi-fi hotspots. Coffee shops, book stores, and even fast food chains commonly carry wi-fi. You simply bring your laptop and use your wireless internet connection. Most places will offer free wi-fi, but that is country dependent. Some places may require a purchase before giving out the password, and others may simply ask you to sign up for wi-fi service.

4. Mobile Broadband

If you use mobile broadband, you might be in luck. A simple change of SIM cards might allow you to access local services via the cell phone networks. If you’re going to use this option, then it would be wise to consider a prepaid service.

Dorset Holiday

Dorset Holiday

Spending holidays in the UK is often a synonym of going to London for either a very cultural holiday of visiting museums and theater plays or a very shallow holiday of shopping around London’s markets and malls. Often people take the high road and tour around England, either to visit the major towns, follow the Beatles’ trail, watch some football games or perhaps to relax in the Scottish highlands.

There’s a secret well kept in Britain when it comes to holidays, and that secret is Dorset. With stunning beaches, amazing holiday summer resorts and a beautiful and relaxing countryside, it is the county of choice for many Britons to spend their summer holidays or, perhaps, just to spend a couple of relaxing days by the sea.

If you choose to wise up and visit this relatively untouched paradise, there are many options for your stay. Luxury hotels in Dorset are fitted to comply with your every desire, as are the many lodges and cheaper hostels around the county.

Renting a car may be a good option for a couple of days, as you might wish to take a tour of the surrounding countryside and take it all in on your own schedule.
